Welcome to our interim website. This site will be developed and enhanced over the coming months to provide news and information about Capital Radio and Sierra Leone. Capital Radio is the Sierra Leone station with the difference! It is a full service commercial radio station with news and information carried on a wide range of international music from around the world. Our motto is 'World Wide Hits' and this is exactly what we will provide.

The current affairs output will include the latest news concerning Sierra Leone, regional news from West Africa and World news from internationally respected journalists and news organisations. Information will be wide ranging and include weather, sport, and ‘What’s On’ in Freetown and Western Area. Information from government ministries and the many international aid agencies will also be carried.

Capital Radio's DJ’s will be listening to what is popular in Sierra Leone and around the world today and playing the music in their programmes. Above all, the station will be entertaining.

The telephone is important to Capital Radio. Listeners can ‘phone-in with their comments on current affairs, participate in competitions or simply to request dedications. And, of course, you can use your mobile to call or to text.
